Kenyon College is conducting a search to fill the position of Disability Services Advisor/ Assistive Technology Coordinator. The Disability Services Advisor/ Assistive Technology Coordinator supports the integration of students with disabilities into Kenyon Campus life and classes through direct student services, coordination of student technology accommodations, and fostering equal access to the Kenyon experience through advocacy, inclusionary practices, and campus partnerships. Duties and Responsibilities: Working collaboratively as part of the 4-person team in Student Accessibility and Support Services, the Disability Services Advisor /Assistive Technology Coordinator works directly with prospective and currently enrolled students by (including but not limited to) conducting intakes, reviewing documentation, explaining student legal rights and responsibilities and recommending/facilitating accommodations while striving to promote the development of appropriate self-advocacy skills. This position works to foster and maintain communication between faculty, staff, and students with disabilities on access and accommodation issues and provides ongoing consultation and problem-solving around the provision of authorized services and accommodations while maintaining confidentiality as required by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act.

Kenyon College is conducting a search for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Assistant Director of Student Engagement. In cooperation with other Student Affairs staff members, the Assistant Director of Student Engagement provides guidance and support to highly student organizations. In particular, the Assistant Director will support affinity-based organizations that enhance a sense of belonging for underrepresented students on Kenyon’s campus. This is an eleven (11) month position, and includes regular evening and weekend responsibilities. Experience working with student activities, especially student programming boards and performance venues and radio stations, is preferred. Assistant Professor of Anthropology, Tenure Track in Gambier, OH
Kenyon College, a highly selective, nationally ranked liberal arts college in central Ohio, invites applications for a tenure-track position in Anthropology at the level of Assistant Professor, beginning fall semester of 2023. We seek a broadly-trained cultural anthropologist specializing in medical and/or linguistic anthropology with an excellent teaching record, an active research agenda, and a demonstrated commitment to including students in ongoing research. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues in International Studies, Environmental Studies, African Diaspora Studies, Asian and Middle East Studies, or Women and Gender Studies. Geographic area is open but an Africanist or Asianist is preferred. Theoretical specialties should complement existing strengths within the Anthropology department.
