Marilyn Yarbrough Dissertation/Teaching Fellowship Gambier, OH
Kenyon College, a highly selective, nationally ranked liberal arts college in central Ohio, invites applications for the Marilyn Yarbrough Dissertation/Teaching Fellowship beginning in July 2022. The program is for scholars in the final stages of their doctoral work who need only to finish the dissertation to complete requirements for the Ph.D. We hope the experience of teaching, researching, and living for a year at Kenyon will encourage these Fellows to consider a liberal arts college as a place to begin their careers as teachers and scholars. Kenyon College, located on an idyllic campus in the beautiful village of Gambier (50 miles NE of Columbus), enrolls approximately 1650 students and is ranked in the top tier of national liberal arts colleges. Associate Director of Institutional Research Gambier, OH

Robert P Hubbard Professor of Poetry Gambier, OH
The Kenyon College Department of English seeks to appoint a poet and teacher to an endowed chair in creative writing at the rank of assistant professor. The Robert P Hubbard Professor of Poetry, beginning July 1, 2022, will teach mainly poetry-writing workshops and work to foster the appreciation of poetry across the Kenyon College community. They will teach four courses each year (two each semester) and contribute to the life of the English department and the College. Qualifications include: a strong record of teaching excellence; at least one collection of poetry, published by a highly regarded press; demonstrated commitment to teaching and mentoring underrepresented students; and an MFA or PhD. Classroom Technology Specialist Gambier, OH
Kenyon College is seeking applications for a Classroom Technology Specialist in the Library and Information Services division. The Classroom Technology Specialist reports to the Director of Academic Technologies and will interact regularly with many departments and individual faculty members, collaborating extensively with other members of the Information Technology team. The Classroom Technology Specialist supports Kenyon’s many technologically equipped classrooms, as well as many meeting rooms, study spaces, where the core teaching mission of the college takes place. Wright Family Chair in Economics Gambier, OH
The Kenyon College Economics Department invites aspiring and experienced assistant professors to apply for a new tenure track position named the Wright Family Chair in Economics. This position was created for a scholar whose research and teaching interest lie in the area of Political Economy, Public Choice, the history of economic thought, and New Institutional Economics. Assistant Professor of Film Gambier, OH
Kenyon College is seeking applications for the position of tenure-track Assistant Professor of Film to begin in Fall 2022. We welcome applications from both narrative and documentary filmmakers. The position will require teaching at least one production class a year as well as a film studies class of the candidate’s choosing.  The successful candidate will also be responsible for teaching at least one section of the “Introduction to Film” class a year. Total teaching load is five classes per year (3-2 or 2-3 by semester) We are particularly interested in applicants whose creative work and teaching focuses on Black and/or Latinx experiences and/or the representation of people of color, and whose teaching addresses one or more of the following: production, screenwriting, editing or cinematography. Candidates must possess an MFA and should have at least two years of teaching experience (or commensurate professional experience) and a demonstrated track record of artistic excellence. Director of Student Accessibility and Support Services Gambier, OH
Kenyon College is conducting a search to fill the position of Director of Student Accessibility and Support Services. The Director of Student Accessibility and Support Services is a member of the Academic Division of the college and reports directly to the Dean for Academic Advising.  In collaboration with the Academic Division and Student Affairs, the Director of Student Accessibility and Support Services works to facilitate program accessibility within all aspects of the student experience; including classroom, residential and extracurricular life. Primarily, the Director supports the mission of the College by planning, designing, and administering appropriate advising and support programs, policies and services for students with disabilities. The Director reviews documentation, engages in interactive discussions and oversees the assignment of academic, housing and dining accommodations for students, as well as providing support for faculty and staff with disabilities. The Director advises students with disabilities or connects them to appropriate advisors, overseeing a staff of two professional positions in the Student Accessibility and Support Services office. The Director works with offices across campus to ensure equity and access for all students and compliance with relevant laws. Working with the Center for Innovative Pedagogy, the Director provides training and resources to faculty to ensure the accessibility of classroom technology and digital media. The Director works with the Operations division to identify and remove barriers to access in college facilities and consults on new construction and renovation.
