Assistant Director of Residential Life (two positions) Gambier, OH
Kenyon College is conducting a national search for two new Assistant Directors of Residential Life.  Kenyon recently received a transformational gift of $100 million to build three new residence halls and our new Assistant Directors of Residential Life will partner with the entire team in Residential Life, students, and colleagues at Kenyon to make these facilities a seamless extension of our vibrant campus facilities and the events which occur within them.  We take great pride in being a fully residential liberal arts college and the new Assistant Directors of Residential Life will be colleagues who can bring ideas to life while ensuring fingerprints from across campus are present at every stage of efforts they shepherd.  The residential experience is a cornerstone of Kenyon College and these positions will have the opportunity to be a true servant leader in creating an environment where students partner with colleagues to make the campus their classroom.  Currently, Kenyon’s fully-residential housing program includes twelve residence halls, eight apartment areas, and ten specialty houses.  We are proud to be the home of the Kenyon Review literary magazine, the Brown Family Environmental Center (a 500-acre nature preserve), the Kenyon Access Initiative, and the most team and individual national championships of any NCAA Division III Institution. The Assistant Director of Residential Life (two positions) is a member of the Office of Residential Life, reporting directly to the Director of Residential Life.  The Assistant Director of Residential Life supports the mission of the College by overseeing the daily management of a residential area housing 500-800 students.  This is an eleven (11) month (exempt), live-in position that includes evening and weekend responsibilities.
BFEC Land Management Assistant Gambier, OH
The Brown Family Environmental Center is seeking to hire a seasonal Land Management Assistant. Responsibilities include trail work, invasive species management, and light landscaping. This is a 4-month appointment, May 16 through September 30. 35-hour work week, Monday through Friday. Qualifications: High school diploma, at least 18 years of age, Ohio driver’s license. Kenyon College is conducting a national search for a motivated and experienced football coach to be our new Defensive Coordinator. We take great pride in our rich football tradition and the next Defensive Coordinator will be a colleague who is willing to work hard to enhance the lives of our student-athletes academically, athletically, and within the community. Campus Safety Officer - Part Time Gambier, OH
Kenyon College is conducting a search for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Campus Safety Officer, Part-Time. Hours worked per week and shifts worked will be dependent on coverage needs, including weekends and possibly holidays. Shifts that may be assigned are 7:00am to 5:00pm; 5:00pm to 1:00am and 11:00pm to 7:00am. The rate of pay is $18.00 per hour. This is a collectively bargained position and without benefits.

Visiting Assistant Professor of Mathematics & Statistics Gambier, OH
Kenyon College, a highly selective, nationally ranked liberal arts college in central Ohio, invites applications for a Visiting position in Mathematics & Statistics at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning in July 2022. A Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field is preferred, but ABD’s will be considered. Prior teaching experience at a U.S. college or university is required. Postdoctoral Fellowship with the Center for the Study of American Democracy, Two-year Residential Gambier, OH
The Center for the Study of American Democracy at Kenyon College invites applications for a two-year residential postdoctoral fellowship to begin August 2022 that explores the nexus between market and society and the role of markets in economic and political development. Candidates with Ph.D.’s in economic history, economic sociology, new institutional economics, political economy, public policy, or similar field are encouraged to apply. The Fellow will be jointly appointed in an appropriate affiliate department, teach one course per semester, advance their research, and assist the Center’s activities. The fellowship will provide a competitive salary plus health benefits. The Fellow should hold a Ph.D. at the time of appointment. Visiting Assistant Professor in Photography Gambier, OH

Kenyon Farm Manager Gambier, OH
Kenyon College is conducting a search to fill the position of Kenyon Farm Manager. The Kenyon Farm focuses on experiential learning, sustainable food systems and food production. Our mission is to engage the Kenyon community in a small-scale farming operation in the context of a liberal arts education and to support the academic values of Kenyon College. The Kenyon Farm Manager/Instructor organizes and directs activities at the ten-acre Kenyon Farm. They support programs focused on sustainable farming practices, food equity, the environmental humanities, and student-faculty projects. The Farm Manager/Instructor is the administrative leader responsible for the Farm’s operations including planning, cultivation, developing community partnerships, and supporting and facilitating research projects. They also support the Environmental Studies program directly by teaching at least two courses related to agriculture per year and advising and supporting faculty who integrate KF into their courses. Kenyon College’s Department of Modern Languages and Literatures invites applications for a two-year (2022–2024) Visiting Assistant Professor in Russian.
