The Kenyon College Department of Economics invites economists with teaching and research interests in macroeconomics and/or monetary economics to apply for a tenure track position at the assistant professor level. Special consideration will be given to applicants who also demonstrate an interest in labor economics and/or economic history. Qualifications for the position include: 

  • PhD in hand no later than July 31, 2023

  • A demonstrated interest in teaching undergraduates

  • A promising research agenda in macro/money and labor or economic history.

  • A commitment to creating a classroom environment in which students from a variety of backgrounds can flourish.

The teaching load for this position is five courses per year and the college provides research support.
