Kenyon College invites applications for the position of Men’s and Women’s Track & Field Assistant Coach. This is a full time, 10-month reporting position with benefits.
Under general direction of the Head Track & Field Coach, this coach will assist with the responsibilities of the NCAA D-III Men’s and Women’s Track & Field program in accordance and compliance with NCAA, NCAC, and Kenyon College policies and regulations. The Assistant Track & Field Coach will work in conjunction with the head coach to fulfill the following responsibilities: recruiting and coaching student athletes across event areas, with an emphasis on the Multi-Events and Throws, and assisting with program operations. Additional responsibilities will be assigned in game management, facility overview, teaching, and / or administration.
It is also expected that the Men’s and Women’s Track & Field Assistant Coach embraces the department mission of fostering learning and developing community with a focus on the values of citizenship, competition, resiliency, sportsmanship, and teamwork within Kenyon’s unique campus culture. - Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience as a competitor in the Multi-Events is preferred, but not required.
- Collegiate track and field coaching experience is preferred.
- CPR, First Aid and AED Certification is required (and can be completed after hire).
