Kenyon College, a highly selective, nationally ranked liberal arts college in central Ohio, invites applications for a tenure-track position in Psychology at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning in Fall 2021. 

The Psychology Department of Kenyon College invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor to begin in Fall of 2021. Candidates should have demonstrated excellence in teaching and interest in mentoring undergraduate research. The standard teaching expectation is 5 courses per year, which includes foundation courses (e.g., introductory psychology, statistics, or methodology) and courses in the applicant’s area of specialty.  Research specialization area is open, but preference will be given to candidates whose work emphasizes the application of psychology in the field (such as community, I/O, sports, legal, environmental, or public health). 

 

To apply, candidates should visit the online application site found at http://careers.kenyon.edu.  A complete application will be comprised of 1) a Cover Letter discussing the applicant's prior teaching experience, and the research and scholarship undertaken; 2) a Statement of Teaching Philosophy which addresses experience with teaching diverse student populations, as well as how inclusivity is addressed in the classroom setting; 3) a Research Statement; 4) a Curriculum Vita; 5) Graduate School Transcript(s); and 6) a list of names and contact information of three (3) professional references. All application materials must be submitted electronically through Kenyon's employment website.
