Kenyon College is conducting a search for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Administrative Assistant for Campus Life. The Administrative Assistant for Campus Life is a member of the Kenyon College Student Affairs staff and reports directly to the Dean of Campus Life supporting the following areas: Dean of Campus Life, First-Year Experience and Student Success, Residential Life, and Student Engagement. This is a full-time, eleven-month position, with benefits, working approximately 35 hours per week. Most work is completed during regular business hours (M-F, 8:30am-12:00pm; 1:00pm-4:30pm), however, occasional work outside of these times (evenings and weekends) is necessary. The hourly rate of pay is $16.29.
The Administrative Assistant for Campus Life will have three to five years of professional office experience, preferably in a higher education setting. Candidate must have an appreciation for the value of a residential, liberal arts education and should possess energy and enthusiasm for working with undergraduate students. The successful candidate will also possess strong skills in organizational management, task completion and have excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, Google products, Campus Reports, and Banner data management system is highly desirable. Ability to lift and carry 30 lbs. unassisted.
