Kenyon College seeks a microbiology research assistant for an award-winning undergraduate research program. The ideal candidate is someone who desires research experience and enjoys working with students. The start date for this position will be in July or August.
Some of the duties of this position include, but are not limited to: performing genetic experiments on bacteria, including Escherichia coli and related pathogens; maintaining supplies and equipment; and training undergraduate laboratory assistants in basic procedures.
Minimum Qualifications: The qualified candidate will possess or expect to earn this spring an undergraduate degree in Biology or Biochemistry, or equivalent field.
Completed application must include letter of interest, resume, undergraduate transcript, and contact information for a science instructor.
