Kenyon College seeks a qualified candidate to fill the position of Associate Director of Gifts and Records Management. Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Advancement Information Services, the associate director manages the day-to-day operations of a team of data specialists who handle gift processing, receipting, and biographic information. This position has primary responsibility for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the biographic and gift information related to Kenyon’s alumni, parents, and friends. This information is essential to the efforts of the Advancement division as it seeks to engage Kenyon’s alumni and parents and increase philanthropic support for Kenyon, as well as to other offices across the College. The associate director also serves as a liaison between the Advancement division and other offices on campus, as well as a key contact for alumni, parents, and financial institutions.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
This position supervises four permanent employees and a varying number of student workers and temporary staff. The permanent employees reporting to this position are a biographical records specialist, a gift and alumni records specialist, a data entry specialist, and an administrative assistant responsible for gift receipts.
