Visiting Assistant Professor of German, Kenyon College
Kenyon College, a highly selective, nationally ranked liberal arts college in central Ohio, invites applications for a two-year, non-renewable position of Visiting Assistant Professor of German (full time), starting July 1, 2020. Native or near-native fluency in German required. The successful candidate will demonstrate evidence of teaching excellence. Ph.D. in German Studies / Germanic Languages & Literatures in hand at the time of appointment is preferred. Advanced ABD candidates are welcome to apply. The field of specialization is open but expertise in fields such as twentieth and twenty-first German, Austrian, and Swiss literature and/or film is helpful. Women and minority candidates are particularly encouraged to apply.
