Advanced Practice Registered Nurse-Certified Nurse Practitioner (APRN-CNP) Gambier, OH
Kenyon College is conducting a search for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Advanced Practice Registered Nurse-Certified Nurse Practitioner (APRN-CNP). The APRN-CNP supports Kenyon College students by providing direct medical care in alignment with the Cox Center mission: “Providing compassionate care and empowering students to best manage their own health in preparation for life after Kenyon.” The APRN-CNP will utilize clinical skills in health assessment, diagnosis, treatment of various health/medical conditions, and referrals to off- campus providers if the health need is beyond the Center’s scope of practice. The APRN-CNP will operate within the limitations of the Ohio Board of Nursing in addition to College policies. This position will assist with health and wellness promotion coordinated by the Cox Center, Student Affairs Division, and/or other campus partners. This position reports administratively and clinically to the Associate Director for Health Services; support is provided by the Director of Health & Counseling, as needed. As part of the Health Services team, the APRN-CNP will require a Standard Care Arrangement in accordance with the Ohio Board of Nursing, and maintain a strong collaborative relationship with the Center’s contract physicians.
Program and Budget Manager Oberlin College
The Five Colleges of Ohio, Inc. (a consortium comprised of The College of Wooster, Denison University, Kenyon College, Oberlin College, and Ohio Wesleyan University) (Ohio Five) seeks a qualified candidate to serve as Program and Budget Manager at the organization’s headquarters at Oberlin College. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Coordinator is responsible for the administrative management of Ohio Five operations, including: • overseeing and performing monthly reconciliation of banking, credit card and investment accounts • managing accounts payable and receivable • maintaining grant budgets and reports • preparing and delivering financial reports and forecasts to the Director and the Ohio Five Board of Trustees • assisting in preparing annual audited financial statements This position also provides program support to several Ohio Five committees and assists the Executive Director with planning meetings and managing an Ohio Five internal grants program and internship program. The successful candidate will demonstrate general accounting experience and will have completed basic accounting coursework; an accounting degree is preferred. Proficiency in Quickbooks and MS Office is a requirement, along with the ability to learn new software platforms used in an academic setting. Strong written communication skills is also a key element of this position. Ohio Five is offering remote work options during COVID-19; thereafter, some travel to partner campuses will be expected. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can work independently and who is enthusiastic about interacting with and supporting committees and a wide range of academic staff and faculty. Advancement Division Post-Graduate Fellow Gambier, OH
Kenyon College seeks a candidate with experience or interest in working with underrepresented groups to join the Advancement team for a 2-year fellowship. The work will include assisting with an Alumni of Color Task Force to better engage our diverse populations, assisting with donor relations to share the impact of gifts in ways that resonate with donors, and participating in direct fundraising outreach and messaging. It will also include a comprehensive introduction and immersion in the advancement profession working with each department within the division.
