One-Year Visiting Assistant Professor, Latin American History ~ History Department, Kenyon College
Kenyon College, a highly selective, liberal arts college in central Ohio, invites applications for a one-year visiting position in Latin American history for the 2018-2019 academic year. Field of specialization is open. The successful candidate will teach surveys and upper-level courses in his/her area of expertise. The teaching expectation is five courses per year. The History Department is comprised of eleven historians with diverse thematic and geographic specializations who value both excellence in undergraduate education and high quality research. Candidates should have a record of excellent teaching and a Ph.D. in hand, or near completion, by the beginning of the appointment.
