The Assistant Director of Student Rights and Responsibilities supports the mission of the College by administering and implementing the student conduct review system as outlined in the Student Handbook. The position reports to the Director of Student Rights and Responsibilities.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Success Factors
An appreciation for the value of a liberal arts education, and a high degree of energy and enthusiasm for working with a diverse student population. are essential. Strong organizational and communication skills, and a compassionate yet firm approach to student conduct are required for success. A sense of humor and the ability to multi-task and prioritize situations are also key attributes.
Evening and weekend work are to be expected, as are long periods of sitting and several hours a day of computer use.
Bachelor’s Degree with experience working in a college setting.
The Assistant Director is a 10 month exempt full-time position starting August 1, 2017.
